Oh baby!

It's official: here's the ultrasound to prove it. We're having our second baby!
The baby is due November 26th, so we'll be settled into our new house by then, but we still don't know where we'll be. We'll keep everyone updated when we find out.

April

Here's a recap of some of the things we did in April:

Aleah came out to visit. We had a blast when she came down, here are a few pictures:

I smooth-talked the Sea World attendants into letting Aleah in for free. Here she is in the bird cage.


We are too cheap to buy the picture taken off of the rollercoaster-cam so we took a digital pic of the preview on the screen, suckers!

We went camping at this great spot on the Frio River. Garner State Park. James had a blast.

Aleah and I swam across the river and climbed up the bank to a rope swing. It was great, I felt like a kid. You may have to enlarge the picture because Jenny took it from her side of the river.

After the campout, we went to the Alamo...
...and ate at a nice Italian Restaurant on the Riverwalk.
The next week we went out to Moab, here are some pictures from that adventure:

We had to stop at four-corners because it was on the way, and it was sort of cool, I guess.
When we got to Moab, the real fun began. It was great seeing everyone.

Ok, here's the deal. You have a nice, new jeep, but to have serious bragging rights you have to post a picture or a video at least as good as these (with you driving your Jeep).



We go to Moab, UT every April for a week. Jenny's family rents Jeeps and lets us tear them up. They are Wranglers with Rubicons. They are truly amazing machines. I actually tamed it down this year. Last year I almost flipped backwards with Jenny and her sister and brother in the Jeep. I had three wheels in the air going up a cliff. The only thing holding us from rolling backwards was the friction of the side of the Jeep against an outcropping as it was about to roll. We were all looking at the sky wondering how we were going to survive. We were 90 degrees. I wish I had a picture of that one, but when your not sure if your going to survive, taking a picture isn't always in the front of your mind. This year I managed to get a few tires off the ground though:


In spite of the way it looks, I'm not high-centered here. (I did scrape the bottom a little though).

No matter how much we beat up the Jeeps, and we really beat them up, as long as we spend a couple of hours cleaning them to show-room quality, they never charge us.
